About Strategic Forecasting

Strategic Forecasting is a modeling and policy research company located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Strategic Forecasting was founded in 1994 by Dr. Steven Caldwell to continue development of CORSIM, a dynamic microsimulation model used for policy analysis and research.

Clients of Strategic Forecasting have included both private and government agencies in the U.S., including the Social Security Administration, the American Association of Retired Persons, and the National Institute of Dental Research. International collaborations have taken the CORSIM model into Canada and the European Union where it has served as the basis from which to develop new microsimulation models.
